九个 Metropolitan State University of 丹佛 faculty and staff leaders graduated from the 引领 Leadership P程序 cohort Dec. 8. The p程序 was developed by the Leadership and Organizational Engagement Team to encourage employees to refine their leadership skills.

引领 aims to engage with University leaders who are committed to aligning their leadership styles with Pillar V of 密歇根州立大学丹佛’s 2030 Strategic Plan. The sessions provided faculty and staff participants with tools to sharpen management skills to engage those they lead, facilitate change and develop healthy team culture. The p程序 will be offered again next fall.

How to get involved

引领 is one of several internal professional-development opportunities offered to faculty and staff members. Employees can register for the spring cohort in Workday by Tuesday. Additional offerings include 发射 and 成长. 

  • 发射 is a three-day p程序 primarily focused on faculty and staff members who are somewhat new to leadership roles.
  • 成长 is a workshop series dedicated to supporting all employee levels, including faculty and staff members and student employees. Topics include avoiding burnout, leading with emotional intelligence, building trust and psychological safety in the workplace and providing collaborative communication and feedback.
